We strive to provide this information in a commercial free environment when ever and where ever possible.
Over the past few years, we have seen great advancement in both male and female athletics at Southern Miss. It is out of these significant achievements that the GoldenEagles.net network was born. Our primary purpose is to provide a means of support for both male and female athletics at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Founded on the 10th of May 1999 as a means of supporting the advancement of both male and female athletics at the University of Southern Mississippi, the GoldenEagles.net network of sites is totally non-profit and committed to providing a wide range of informative and entertaining material relating to Golden Eagle athletics, promoting our beloved University to the masses, and furthering the advancement of Southern Miss.

A Dean's List scholar, Robert received his undergraduate degree from Southern Miss in 1982. While at USM, he served as Student Body Senator, President of Alpha Psi Omega fraternity, "Big Brother" to Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority and was selected to "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."
In 2009, Robert received his M.B.A. - Hospitality and Tourism from the Univ. of Guelph in Ontario, Canada and he is employed with Wyndham Worldwide as Director of Regional Marketing.
He is a season ticket holder and owner of J.C. Cook's Barber Shop in Oak Grove, MS.
He and his wife of 10 years, along with their miniature dachshund Sammie live in Oak Grove. Chris attended Oak Grove until 1991, then moved to Texas where he graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana in 1996. He is a 1998 graduate of Hinds Community College barber school in Raymond, MS., of which his grandfather also graduated in 1955.
